‘Cooking takes more than just a pinch of responsibility. To that I add a few dashes of creativity and a splash of that certain something.’

Lia in her own words

For me, cooking is more than a passion: with my creations I want to inspire and raise awareness of what is good for us. ‘You are what you eat’ is not an empty phrase for me.

That’s why I want to surprise you with the variety of my cuisine, with treats that are a feast for the eyes too and with little culinary works of art. I draw inspiration from travel, where I keep discovering new things. I also bring the knowledge from my training in traditional Chinese medicine into my cooking.

But why only look to faraway places? The produce I work with is seasonal and regional wherever possible. It matters a great deal to me that it is organically grown.

I cook mainly vegetarian and vegan food. Meat, fish and other animal products come from animal-friendly farming or sustainable fishing. And it matters a great deal to me that everyone can join in the meal, including guests with allergies or special diets.
